“Singapore is such a boring place”. We’ve heard someone tell us this, or maybe we are the ones who feel that way. There are countless hidden gems in Singapore waiting to be discovered, and the best people to do this with are friends!
If you’re looking for fun places to go with your friends in Singapore, we’ve got you covered. From exploring museums to jumping off a 47m tower, here are 7 activities to do with your friends!
How to save on your outing
All Singaporeans aged 18 and above will be receiving $100 worth of tourism vouchers, which can be used at attractions, tours and hotels. For more details on how these vouchers will work, please refer here.
If you’re planning a day out with your friends, this is the perfect time to do so without breaking the bank.
1. Find out who’s the bravest in the group
It’s not real friendship if there’s no humble-bragging involved, and it’s time to figure out who truly is the bravest soul in the group. Standing at a towering 47m tall, the Bungy at AJ Hackett Sentosa is the perfect daredevil activity to challenge your friends to.
Prefer something a little tamer? AJ Hackett Sentosa also offers a Giant Swing or Vertical Skywalk, which is considerably more doable than the Bungy jump. For those looking for something more calming, AJ Hackett is also home to a Skybridge that offers breathtaking views of Sentosa from 47m up.
Due to current COVID-19 measures, AJ Hackett is only open from Thursday to Monday. Do note that participants are recommended to make a booking online 2 days in advance, so make sure you plan ahead if you’re making a visit.
Tip: If you’re taking the plunge with the Bungy, choose the option of touching the pool when you jump down for an extra kick!
2. Have a splashing good time

We might not be able to travel to Bali together now, but that doesn’t mean you can’t have a day of fun at a waterpark! Wild Wild Wet is one of Singapore’s biggest waterparks, and it’s home to over 7 attractions and 9 slides.
After being revamped in 2017, Wild Wild Wet has something for everyone, ranging from a lazy pool for you to relax on to a free-falling ride that drops from 6m high. If you and your friends are theme park junkies looking for something new to do, this water park is the perfect activity.
Take note that the park is only open from Thursday to Monday, and as the park is operating on limited capacity, it’s recommended that you purchase your tickets in advance.
3. Exchange embarrassing childhood stories
While we’ve all explored Singapore at some point in our lives, how much do we actually know about the sunny island we call home? If you paid attention back in school, this is the time to prove you’re the smartest friend.
Walking tours are the perfect opportunity to exchange childhood stories and memories we had while growing up, allowing you to get to know your friends even better.

Do note that some games are rated, and require players to be of a certain age before being allowed to participate. Bookings can only be made online for groups of 5, and you will only be allowed to play within your friend group.
*Do note that this activity is no longer eligible for the SingapoRediscover voucher.
5. Race each other down the hills of Sentosa

Want to prove to your friends that you’re the best driver? Show off your skills with a race at Skyline Luge Sentosa! If you haven’t tried it before, the Luge is a wheeled ride that gives you full control of your descent.
With 4 different trails to choose from, challenge your friends down the slopes and see who reaches the finish line first! To get back up the hill for another round of racing, simply hop on the Skyride and enjoy panoramic views of Sentosa as you look down on the race tracks below you.
Skyline Luge Sentosa is open from Thursday to Monday, with Night Luge available on Friday and Saturday. Tickets can only be purchased online, and safe distancing measures have been implemented to ensure the safety of riders.
6. Go on a photo shoot to update your Instagram feed
A hangout session with your friends isn’t complete if no one posted about it on Instagram. If you and your friends are looking to spice up your Instagram feed, the best place to head to is the ArtScience Museum!
The museum’s most popular exhibit is the Future World exhibit, which is home to various digital installations. Not only is Future World the perfect chance for you to snap some shots, but it’s a good time to test your friends’ photography skills too.
If you’re looking for a more educational exhibit, the museum has the Planet or Plastic exhibition by National Geographic, which will be on display until March 2021. Learn more about the plastic pollution crisis through a series of photos and videos, the museum’s first exhibit to be launched after circuit breaker.
Visitors are encouraged to purchase their tickets online before heading down, due to a limited capacity as well as time entrances to exhibits.
7. Find out who can scream the loudest

The Jurassic Park Rapids Adventure is perfect for cooling off on a hot day, and make sure you visit the Revenge of the Mummy indoor rollercoaster before leaving.
For friends that are looking for something more chill, try out the Puss in Boots’ Giant Journey, or the Enchanted Airways, which is a tamer rollercoaster the park offers as well.
